Nearly 90 SCCA physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners recognized for excellence in patient care.

SEATTLE – September 2, 2021 – Today, 88 Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners were recognized as “Top Doctors” by Seattle Met magazine.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance clinicians were recognized across 24 practice areas, with the majority of SCCA providers recognized in the specialties of Hematology/Oncology, Breast and Cancer Surgery, and Gynecologic Oncology.
“I could not be more honored to work alongside such a capable and compassionate team of people.,” said Nancy E. Davidson, MD, president and executive director of SCCA. “Every individual at SCCA contributes to the culture of collaboration that allows us to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. I am especially proud of their commitment and resilience in what has been an undoubtedly challenging year.”
Voters nominated their peers on elements that included years of experience, patient satisfaction, competency, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care.
The “Top Doctors” list from Seattle Met is in its 16th year and features the best health practitioners in the Seattle area in 80 practice areas, as voted by their peers. A total of 988 providers appear on the list. This year’s list resulted from a poll conducted by Professional Research Services. Healthcare practitioners licensed by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) in King, Snohomish, Kitsap and Pierce Counties were asked, “If you or a loved one needed care, whom would you choose?”
