“I believe in the holistic care of our patients by collaborating with other healthcare professionals in order to maximize patient wellness. A multidisciplinary approach is necessary in order to meet the patient's emotional, physical and spiritual needs.”
— Alexandra
Why do you practice oncology?

I decided to work in healthcare, because I enjoy learning about how the human body functions and working with people in order to improve their health and wellness. I decided to work in oncology, because the patients are resilient, and the field of oncology is always progressing. It is incredible to be working in a field that is always at the forefront of technology and science. It's an honor to work with people during the most vulnerable part of their lives, and hopefully improve the experience for them through compassionate and competent care. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, playing/coaching volleyball, hiking and spending time with my friends, family and fur babies.

Clinical trials

We make promising new treatments available to you through studies called clinical trials led by SCCA doctors. Many of these trials at SCCA have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your doctor can decide if a study is right for you.

Your care team

At SCCA, you receive care from a team of providers with extensive experience in your disease. Your team includes doctors, a team coordinator, a registered nurse, an advanced practice provider and others, based on your needs. You also have access to experts like nutritionists, social workers, acupuncturists, psychiatrists and more who specialize in supporting people with cancer or blood disorders.
Registered nurse (RN)

SCCA accepts most national private health insurance plans as well as Medicare. We also accept Medicaid for people from Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. We are working to ensure that everyone, no matter what their financial situation, has access to the care they need.
