SEATTLE – (July 25, 2019) –Seattle Met, a monthly magazine that reports on Seattle politics, arts and community released today its annual Top Doctors list today, featuring 78 Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
The 14th annual list of the best health practitioners in the Seattle area showcases doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, in 86 practice areas, as voted on by their peers. A total of 915 providers appear on the list.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners were named in 27 practice areas and achieved an impressive showing of 40 percent in the Hematology/Oncology category.
“SCCA physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants deliver world class care and treatment to patients regionally and at multiple SCCA community and partner sites, ” said Nancy E. Davidson, MD president and executive director of SCCA. “We are gratified to have their work recognized by Seattle Met.”
This year’s complete list resulted from a poll conducted by Professional Research Services, a survey company engaged by Seattle Met. Health care practitioners licensed by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) in King, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Pierce counties, were asked, “If you or a loved one needed care, whom would you choose?”
Voters nominated their peers on elements that included years of experience, patient satisfaction, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care.
“Patients and family respect the care that our doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants deliver each day at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance,” said F. Marc Stewart, MD, medical director and senior vice president of SCCA. “This list reflects the dedication of SCCA multidisciplinary care teams and their unwavering commitment to patients. ”
