Nursing Management of the Cellular Therapy & Blood and Marrow Transplant Patient

The purpose of this two-day course is to give an overview of the management and nursing care relating to the BMT and immunotherapy patient. To receive contact hours, participants must sign in each day before the end of the first session, be present for all course content, and complete the online evaluation.

Bone marrow transplant The process of treating disease with high doses of chemotherapy, radiation therapy or both. Bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cells are given after treatment to help the body make more blood cells.
