Spiritual resources at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) include Spiritual Health staff, a Sanctuary at the SCCA South Lake Union outpatient clinic and information on places of worship in the community.
Chaplaincy care (spiritual, religious, emotional, existential care) is available at any stage of your treatment process for patients treated at the SCCA outpatient clinic, University of Washington Medical Center, and Seattle Children’s.
Spiritual Health staff provide care by listening attentively and participating with you in your journey. We honor your spiritual, cultural, and personal frames of reference and will speak with you in a supportive and inquiring manner, rather than imposing a particular perspective upon you.
Families with a child who is an inpatient at Seattle Children’s can call (206) 987-2000 and ask for a chaplain.
