Chaplaincy care (spiritual, religious, emotional, existential care) is available at any stage of your treatment process for patients treated at the SCCA outpatient clinic, University of Washington Medical Center, and Seattle Children’s.
SCCA chaplains provide chaplaincy care by listening attentively and participating with you in your journey. We honor your spiritual, cultural, and personal frames of reference and will speak with you in a supportive and inquiring manner, rather than imposing a particular perspective upon you.
For more information or to speak with a chaplain, call (206) 288-1099 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Your nurse, social worker, or other staff person can call for you as well.
Families with a child who is an inpatient at Seattle Children’s can call (206) 987-2000 and ask for a chaplain.
Places of worship in the Seattle area are listed in our Guide to Seattle.
