SEATTLE – (April 30, 2018) – Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) recently opened the Hematologic Malignancy Genetics Clinic, which provides personalized risk assessment and follow-up care for adult patients and family members who may be at increased risk for developing hematologic malignancies due to an underlying genetic cause. The clinic is staffed by a hematologist, medical geneticist, genetic counselor, and a hematology nurse. SCCA is one of only a few cancer centers in the nation to offer this individualized care.

SEATTLE – (March 14, 2018) – Seattle Cancer Care Alliance announced today that the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has selected two of its oncology leaders to receive 2018 Special Awards. Nancy Davidson, MD, FASCO will receive the ASCO 2018 Allen S. Lichter Visionary Leader Award and Lecture. Julie Gralow, MD, FASCO will receive the ASCO 2018 Humanitarian Award.

SEATTLE – (January 17, 2018) Seattle Cancer Care Alliance has earned recognition by the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research® for outperforming its expected one-year survival rates for allogeneic transplant patients – those who receive donated adult blood-forming stem cells - at The Fred Hutch Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
