Volunteer Orientation Dates

May 2012 Training for New Volunteers

Orientation and training for new volunteers takes place quarterly and includes two, 3-hour sessions; attendance at both is required. If you are unable to attend both of the sessions below, the next orientation will be held in July 2012. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and be able to commit to at least 3 months to our program. Please refer to the application to see if the particular role you are interested in is available. Currently, our greatest need is for the following volunteer roles :

• Volunteer Drivers – Must be at least 21 years old with valid WA state driver’s license and insurance. Clean driving record required.
• Guest Services Volunteers
• Retail Store Volunteers – Two locations – Shine, located at SCCA House, and Rain or Shine, located in SCCA outpatient clinic.
• Cosmetology/Barber Volunteers – Valid WA State Cosmetology license required. Volunteer will serve in Shine, located at SCCA House.
• Healing Music Volunteers
