Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) is a patient care entity that was formed by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. The purpose of their research is to eliminate cancer as a cause of human suffering and death.
In this video patients share their bone marrow transplant experiences at the Fred Hutchinson Bone Marrow Transplant Program at SCCA, which was not only the first to perform a bone marrow transplant, but currently performs more than any other treatment center in the world. Doctors describe breakthroughs in donor typing and talk about the pediatric center. SCCA's unmatched social and family support services provide hope for cancer patients and their loved ones.
