Ten Years. Thousands of Lives Saved.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) is the patient care arm for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine, and Seattle Children’s. Together they form the Pacific Northwest’s only federally designated comprehensive cancer center.
The number of patients seen at SCCA has grown annually by almost 40 percent since 2001 to 25,211 in 2010. The number of employees has more than doubled to 973.
In 2013, SCCA will open the region’s first Proton Therapy Center on the campus of Northwest Hospital & Medical Center as well as a new patient care clinic in Kirkland.
