Dr. Liou is a member of the Acute Liver Failure Study Group, a multicenter NIH-sponsored clinical study investigating clinical outcomes of acute liver failure. Her other interests include hepatocellular carcinoma, clinical outcomes following liver transplantation, and hepatitis B. She is also board-certified in transplant hepatology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine.
