Dr. Carol van Haelst is a hematologist and medical oncologist who treats patients exclusively at SCCA at EvergreenHealth.
A diagnosis of cancer presents each patient with complex decisions. I feel very privileged to be able to help guide and inform my patients, as we decide together, on the best approach using the most current knowledge and experience available. Although my goal for each of my patients is to provide the greatest chance for cure or longlasting remission, I also value the importance of minimizing the long-term impact of therapy on patients' well-being.
