Physician Referral

Partners Throughout The Patient's Treatment

Physician Referral Process
Call our Intake Office at (206) 288-SCCA (7222)

For General Oncology Patients, you will be transferred to the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) who specializes in the type of cancer patient that you are referring. The PCC will review the case with you to determine if would be beneficial for the patient to come to SCCA for treatment.

For Transplant Patients, you will be transferred to the Clinical Care Coordinator who will review the case with you to determine if would be beneficial for the patient to come to SCCA for treatment.

SCCA relationships with referring physicians do not end at the point of referral. It is our intention that most patients return to the referring physician's care after consultation. We at the SCCA are committed to maintaining communications with referring physicians and will do everything we can to encourage ongoing connection to the patient's care.

To make this easier, SCCA offers U-Link for patients admitted to University of Washington Medical Center. This system gives you instant Internet access to information about your patients. By using a secured password, you can have ready access to dictated notes, latest lab tests and results, medication records, operative reports, and discharge summaries.

For more information about U-Link and the Physician Liaison Program, call (206) 598-5693.
