Women's Wellness Clinic
Andréa Leiserowitz
Physical Therapist
Andréa Leiserowitz has a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Michigan and years of experience working with cancer patients, both in Seattle and at top cancer centers elsewhere in the country.
After cancer treatment, Andréa can help you regain your strength and "get back to normal" in all areas of daily life, including work, recreation and family activities. Together, you can set up an exercise program to increase your physical strength and improve your range of motion. Andréa can also help you prevent and manage lymphedema, a common side effect of cancer treatment.
Andréa likes to hike, ski, snowshoe, garden, cook and read. She is a member of Team Transplant, a University of Washington Medical Center-based organization of organ transplant patients and staff who run the Seattle Half Marathon every year. She also volunteers her services as a physical therapist on trips to Antigua, Guatemala, as part of a team of medical volunteers.
She is excited about the new clinic: "We will be able to help more women prevent complications, restore their health, and enhance their quality of life through exercise and education."
