Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Get Information by Diagnosis

Each year about 15,000 to 20,000 Americans are diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a condition that may lead to leukemia.

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) provides comprehensive, leading-edge expertise in diagnosing and treating MDS. Our patients have access to doctors and researchers at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, world-renowned for its pioneering work in blood disorders and bone marrow transplantations, and UW Medicine.

We offer compassionate support during and after your care and are commited to helping you understand your health and treatment options because you and your family are part of the care team, too.

This section you will find information about the treatment options that your doctor may recommend and the services available to you. We will also introduce you to the team of health-care professionals who will provide your care.

You will find general information about MDS, details about clinical trials, and links to more resources, including ways to find practical and emotional support.

If you would like to make an appointment at SCCA, please call the Patient Intake Office at (206) 288-SCCA (7222).
