Cancer Prevention Quarterly
Keeping you informed to actively improve your health and prevent cancer In our effort to promote cancer prevention, the Cancer Prevention Clinic publishes a newsletter four times a year called the Cancer Prevention Quarterly. The purpose of this newsletter is to provide important information about the latest studies regarding cancer prevention and to help demystify modern myths about what causes cancer or how you can avoid getting it. "This newsletter is our way of staying in touch with our clients and providing support for their behavior change efforts,” says Marian Johnson, clinical coordinator. "We want to help our clients stay informed so they can actively improve their health." Each quarter, this newsletter will provide easily-understood summaries of recent scientific studies about cancer prevention followed by expert commentary about what these studies mean to individual readers from Cancer Prevention Clinic professionals, along with practical information about what people can do to reduce their risk of cancer.
