Beauty and Cancer Program
SCCA patients can get suggestions for personal care during cancer treatment and support from caring volunteers through the Beauty and Cancer Program. Volunteers can assist with hats, turbans, wigs, skin care, and make-up, and can help identify related community resources.

Look Good ... Feel Better
For women and teens undergoing cancer treatment, this American Cancer Society program focuses on skin care, cosmetics, wigs, and head wraps. Patients will receive a complimentary makeover and cosmetic samples. Get more information.

SCCA Wig Closet
The program is open to SCCA patients and requires an appointment. One complimentary wig is available to SCCA patients for hair loss.

Head Shaves and Wig Trims at Shine
At Shine, SCCA’s cancer specialty store, we offer complimentary head shaves and wig trims. An appointment is strongly encouraged to ensure that a licensed cosmetologist is on site at the time you'd like a head shave. Only licensed professionals can perform head shaves.
