Moody's Investors Service has upgraded Seattle Cancer Care Alliance's (SCCA) long-term revenue bond rating to A2 from A3. The rating applies to the Series 2008 bonds issued by the Washington Health Care Facilities Authority. The outlook is stable.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Medicine received silver awards from the Leaders In Health Care program at Seattle Business Magazine. The magazine announced the awards Feb. 23 at a gala dinner. Judges singled out SCCA for “creating a network stretching across Washington, Alaska and Montana.” The network includes a consortium of 11 community hospitals and oncology medical practices. UW Medicine drew praise for serving poor and underserved populations in a variety of clinics.
