Long-Term Follow-Up for Transplant Patients

The Survivorship Clinic at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance offers treatment, support, and education to adults who have received a bone-marrow transplant.Adult Transplant Survivors If you have undergone a transplant to treat your cancer, you will find yourself in a new stage of life after treatment.

Many adult transplant survivors face particular issues in the years following treatment, including concerns about graft vs. host disease and other long term health-related issues. Adult transplant survivors will begin a long-term follow-up program to maintain and improve health, and to care for present and future physical and emotional needs.

The Long-Term Follow-Up Program for Transplant Patients provides life-long monitoring and care for patients following a bone marrow transplant. You will be given a thorough screening and health evaluation by our medical staff and will receive a treatment summary that lists all of your treatment, medical information that is pertinent to your diagnosis, and late effects you may experience. This treatment summary will have recommendations for you and your health-care provider to keep you as healthy and as informed as possible.

For more information or to schedule an appointment please call The Survivorship Clinic at (206) 288-1046 or toll-free (866) 543-4272. E-mail us at survivor@fhcrc.org.
