SCCA Update Concerning Swine Flu - December 11 , 2009
Throughout the swine flu pandemic, the number of flu cases at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance has remained low. SCCA understands that our cold and flu symptom surveys and strict isolation policies may have felt overwhelming at times. However, the outcome of low flu rates has undoubtedly saved lives. It is also worth noting that many other cancer centers across the country were forced to delay or forego transplants or close entire cancer units.

See this H1N1 question and answer sheet for information about current availability of the H1N1 flu vacine, a schedule of upcoming clinics and who should receive the vaccine.
