SCCA Update Concerning Swine Flu - December 11 , 2009
Throughout the swine flu pandemic, the number of flu cases at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance has remained low. SCCA understands that our cold and flu symptom surveys and strict isolation policies may have felt overwhelming at times. However, the outcome of low flu rates has undoubtedly saved lives. It is also worth noting that many other cancer centers across the country were forced to delay or forego transplants or close entire cancer units.
