Jonathan Harper, MD

Dr. Harper is a urologic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive surgery and endourology. His primary focus is laparoscopic and robotic surgery for both kidney cancer as well as benign kidney disease.

Dr. Harper's research interests include new technology, techniques, and outcomes involving laparoscopic/robotic surgery and endourology. Other interests include single port laparoscopy and outcomes with laparoscopic donor nephrectomy.

His primary focus and training includes minimally invasive surgery for urologic cancer (kidney, adrenal, prostate, bladder) and benign conditions, as well as complex kidney stone disease.  In addition to being an Associate Professor of Urology, he is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Surgery/Transplantation and performs laparoscopic donor nephrectomy surgery.  His main research interests involve kidney stone disease and kidney cancer.

He is part of a new UW Urology Outreach Program to the UW Neighborhood Physicians Network. In addition to his regular clinic at UW Medical Center, patients can see Dr. Harper at the UW Neighborhood Factoria Clinic in Bellevue. Learn more about UW Urology at Factoria.
