Facilities & Services

SCCA Radiation Oncology at Northwest Hospital serves adults who need radiation therapy for any primary cancer, including breast, colon, lung and prostate cancer. A new Elekta Synergy linear accelerator with electron and photon capability was installed in 2010. The facility uses a 16-slice, wide-bore GE LightSpeed CT simulator to target tumors and minimize damage to healthy tissue, the Philips Healthcare medical dosimetry treatment planning system, and Elekta MOSAIQ electronic medical record software.

In 2013, SCCA Proton Therapy, A ProCure Center, will be open to provide life-saving proton therapy for pediatric and adult cancer patients.

Directions: From I-5, take exit 173. Turn west onto Northgate Way. Turn right (north) onto Meridian Avenue North. Turn left (west) onto 115th Street. The main entrance is on your right; enter there. The Medical Office Building is the first building on your right. It is connected to the hospital by a skybridge.

Parking: Parking is available on the campus near the Medical Office Building. It is free for patients during radiation therapy appointments. Take a parking ticket as you enter campus through the main entrance. Bring your ticket to the SCCA Radiation Oncology office, and ask for parking validation.
