SCCA Medical Oncology at UW Medicine’s Northwest Hospital

Facing cancer takes great strength and courage. It also takes an exceptional team of caregivers that provide comprehensive, compassionate care using the most advanced treatment options and research protocols. Since September 2013, north Seattle residents have had access to the region’s leading medical oncologists from Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) closer to home, at SCCA Medical Oncology on the campus of UW Medicine’s Northwest Hospital & Medical Center.

Through SCCA Medical Oncology at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center you have access to leading-edge cancer treatments and clinical studies without having to travel to downtown Seattle.

SCCA medical oncologists are UW Medicine doctors who specialize in treating cancer with medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy. They coordinate your treatment, lead your cancer care team, and act as your advocate. They work closely with you and your family as part of an integrated team of specialists—including surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and others—who meet weekly to discuss treatment approaches and make recommendations.

The Northwest Hospital & Medical Center campus is located in north Seattle, on North 115th Street between Aurora Avenue North and Interstate 5. SCCA Medical Oncology and SCCA Radiation Oncology are in the Medical Office Building.

From I-5

  • Take exit 173. Turn west onto Northgate Way.
  • Turn right (north) onto Meridian Avenue North.
  • Turn left (west) onto North 115th Street.
  • The main entrance to the campus is on your right; enter there.
  • The Medical Office Building is the first building on your right. It is connected to the hospital by a sky bridge.
