Minimally Invasive Surgery for Pancreatic Cancer - 8/10/2012
Michael McCanell, a 75-year-old retired military colonel, was surprised with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. He reported a feeling of fatigue to his primary care physician who recommended an endoscopy. This test confirmed a tumor. After minimally invasive surgery for pancreatic cancer, Michael is doing well and enrolled in a clinical trial. In this video, Michael's doctor, Venu Pillarisetty, talks about the advantages of minimally invasive surgery for patients with pancreatic cancer.
