Gilda's Club Seattle www.gildasclubseattle.org
A nonprofit organization named for Gilda Radner, the comedian who died of ovarian cancer, offers a number of services to people with cancer and their families and friends. These include support and networking groups, lectures, workshops and social events. The Seattle club, located at 1400 Broadway, has a monthly networking group for women with gynecologic cancers, and another group for people who are living with cancer as a chronic illness. Gynecologic Cancer Foundation  www.thegcf.org
An organization dedicated to ensure public awareness of gynecologic cancer prevention, early diagnosis and proper treatment, and to support research and training. Was established by the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (SGO) in 1991 as a not-for profit charitable organization to raise funds to support philanthropic programs to benefit women who have, or who are at risk for, developing a gynecologic cancer. A number of educational brochures are available through the GCF web site, on topics such as "Renewing Intimacy and Sexuality After Gynecological Cancer" and " Beating the Odds."

Has a well-organized, informative web site that is divided into sections for "newly diagnosed," "survivors" and "general interest." 

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, (OCRF) www.ocrf.org
Is a non-profit organization and funding group devoted to the formulation of early diagnostic treatment programs and research towards the ultimate conquest of ovarian cancer.
