The doctors and specialists at SCCA are among the best in the nation and have access to the latest therapies and treatments. Patients at SCCA are taken care of by nurses who specialize in their disease and by a group of doctors and specialists who meet regularly to discuss a patient's options.

	Jason W. Chien, MD, MS Dr. Chien is a pulmonary and critical care specialist at SCCA and heads the Lung Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Clinic.
	Laura Q.M. Chow, MD Dr. Chow cares for patients with lung and esophageal cancers. She is devoted to finding new treatments for these diseases.

	David K. Madtes, MD Dr. Madtes is a pulmonary and critical care specialist whose expertise is in lung injury repair process, cell biology, and respiratory system.
	Renato G. Martins, MD, MPH Dr. Martins cares for people who have lung cancer. He says "education and sharing decision making and responsibility allow the patient, staff, and me to form a more effective partnership to find the right solutions to wellness." 	Michael S. Mulligan, MD Dr. Mulligan is a leader in cardiothoracic surgery. He has performed hundreds of lung transplants and thousands of other thoracic surgeries. 	Shilpen A. Patel, MD Dr. Patel is a radiation oncologist who specializes in the treatment of thoracic cancer, including lung, thymic, and tracheal tumors, tumors of the gastrointestinal system, and chest sarcoma.
