Colon Cancer

Patient Support

A diagnosis of cancer launches families on an unexpected journey that involves many life changes. The support services at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, a Seattle Cancer Care Alliance parent organization, are here to help you.

Children with cancer and their parents, siblings, family, and friends can face many challenges along the way. Understanding the disease, tests and treatments—which can seem very technical sometimes—presents one type of challenge. The disruption to normal routines and family life can be a big adjustment. And worry about your child’s health may be overwhelming at times.
