The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is the Federal Government's principal agency for cancer research and training.

National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke 
NINDS strives to reduce the burden of diseases of the brain and nervous system. It describes brain and spinal cord tumors and gives information on facts about tumors and treatments.

Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG)
Nationwide group that is funded by the National Cancer Institute. Research studies are conducted to find new ways of increasing survival and improving the quality of life for patients with cancer.

Solid Tumor Translational Research (STTR) Alvord Brain Tumor Center
The STTR Alvord Brain Tumor Center is a collaborative group of physicians and researchers at SCCA founding organizations Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Children’s, and UW Medicine who are working together to improve the treatment and outcomes of patients with brain tumors.
