CME: Spotlight Understanding the Clinical Applicability of Integrin Inhibition in the Treatment of Glioblastoma supported by EMD Serono is now online. Integrins play a crucial role in tumor signaling, survival, migration, and angiogenesis, making them potent targets for cancer therapy, particularly for gliomas and glioblastomas. Several integrin inhibitors are being studied and have been shown to be effective with minimal side effects. This activity will provide an overview of integrin biology and the role of anti-integrins in the treatment of glioblastomas.
