Dr. Ellenbogen is the chief of neurological surgery at UW Medicine. He cares for people with pediatric and adult brain tumors, congenital brain malformations, and minimally invasive brain surgery.

 

 

 

Maciej M. Mrugala, MD, PhD, MPH

Jason K. Rockhill, MD, PhD

Dr. Rockhill utilizes his skills as a surgeon to treat patients with brain and nervous system cancers. He specializes in gamma knife treatments.

 

 

 

Robert C. Rostomily, MD

Dr. Rostomily is an associate professor of neurological surgery, specializing in tumors of the skull base, especially meningiomas, chordomas and acoustic neuromas. He is also conducting research on skull-base tumors to find new approaches to treatment.

 

 

 

Laligam N. Sekhar, M.D.

Dr. Sekhar is known around the world for his expertise in treating complex neurosurgical problems, such as acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, chordomas, and complex brain tumors. He is an expert in the surgical treatment of blood vessel disorders in and around the brain.

 

 

 

Daniel L. Silbergeld, MD

Donald E. Born, PhD, MD

Dr. Born is a neuropathologist who specializes in identifying cancers of the brain and spinal cord and has expertise in applying new techniques to identify genetic and molecular components of cancers. His work is done by looking at cells and tumor tissue using a microscope.
