What to Expect
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) offers comprehensive subspecialty consultation and frontline treatment for blood disorders like aplastic anemia. At SCCA, blood disorder cases are discussed at a weekly joint conference. Ongoing research projects at the SCCA and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center are investigating the causes and physiology of blood diseases.
People with aplastic anemia will be seen at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance clinic at 825 Eastlake Ave. E. in Seattle. To make an appointment, call the Patient Intake line at 1-800-804-8824 or 206-288-SCCA (7222).
Depending on the treatment indicated and the severity of your disease, treatments may occur at SCCA. For those who require hospitalization, treatment will occur at UW Medical Center.
