At Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), patients with anal cancer receive the very best care from a team of specialists who focus on treating cancers of the gastrointestinal system.
As an SCCA patient, you will receive state-of-the-art diagnostic tests and the latest treatments. Your team of doctors will include a medical oncologist, a radiation oncologist and, if you need one, a surgeon. They will design a treatment plan to get you the best results.
When your treatment is complete, we’ll provide comprehensive follow-up care, including visits with the same team who treated your cancer. Our patients say it’s reassuring to see the same team when they come for their follow-up visits.
SCCA was formed, in part, to advance cancer treatment through research. Many of our patients benefit from taking part in clinical studies conducted at SCCA and its founding organizations, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and UW Medicine, or from what our doctors have learned from previous studies.
