American Cancer Society (800) ACS-2345 (800-227-2345), provides patient services, education, rehabilitation and education, and supports research to help fight cancer. There are branches of ACS throughout the country, including more than 3,400 local offices.

National Cancer Institute the Federal Government's principal agency for cancer research and training.

Children's Cancer Association offering programs, information, advocacy and support to enrich quality of life for seriously ill children and their families.

Brittany Lambert Foundation, Inc. a charitable organization dedicated to assisting families whose children are facing life-threatening illnesses.

CureSearch.org (800) 458-6223, was formed by the Children’s Oncology Group and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. Through its various arms, the organization participates in research, care, advocacy and fundraising related to childhood cancers. The CureSearch web site also contains information on specific types of childhood cancers and information about treatment.

National Children's Cancer Society (800) 532-6459 or (314) 241-1600, is concerned with improving the quality of life for children with cancer by promoting children's health through financial and in-kind assistance, advocacy, support services, and education.

Candlelighter’s Childhood Cancer Foundation (800) 366-2223, is a national non-profit organization founded by parents of children with cancer. Free services provided by CCCF include a quarterly newsletter, various handbooks to help families of children with cancer, local support group chapters, and national advocacy.

National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Patient advocacy: (888) 999-6743, General information: (800) 627-7692, helps people who need a life-saving marrow or blood cell transplant by connecting patients, doctors, donors and researchers to resources they need.
