SCCA Recognized as Having a Web Site of Distinction
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance was recognized as having a Web site of distinction in the Best Care/Disease Management Site category at the the 14th Annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards. This award recognizes health care organizations that have made a strong commitment to the online communication of quality measures, outcomes and satisfaction data.
This leading awards program recognizes the best Web sites of health care providers, health plans, health care associations, online health companies, medical equipment firms, suppliers and other health care organizations. These awards highlight the Internet's role in achieving an organization's business objectives and recognize the hard work that has gone into creating outstanding health Web sites.
Some 260 healthcare organizations, representing a broad industry spectrum, received recognition for their outstanding websites and digital communications at a special presentation in New Orleans on November 6 during the Annual Healthcare Internet Conference. Winners of the 2013 eHealthcare Leadership Awards were selected from more than 1,100 entries. A total of 121 individuals familiar with healthcare and the Internet judged the entries.
